На вопрос, возможна ли полемика в области философии в наше время, автор отвечает негативно, исходя из следующих соображений: в ранние эпохи реального столкновения мнений не могло быть, поскольку все философы находились внутри целостного понимания мира и их учения не противоречили друг другу; сегодняшние мыслители не обладают больше представлением о мире, которое могло бы их объединить и дать им единое основание для формирования спекулятивных понятий.
On the question whether the controversy in the field of philosophy in our time, the author responds negatively, for the following reasons: in the early ages of the real clash of interests could not be, because all the philosophers were inside understanding integrity of the world and their teaching is not consistent; today's thinkers have no more idea of the world that they could unify and give them a uniform basis for the formation of speculative concepts.
