В статье устанавливается связь между базовыми смысловыми ассоци- ациями, возникающими вокруг понятия «управление», и представлениями о менеджменте как управленческом процессе. Акцент делается на двух главных образах - захвате предметов рукой и управлении организмом со стороны сознания человека. В статье анализируется вывод психологиче- ской науки об иллюзорности представлений о сознании как о структуре, обладающей контролем над организмом, а также последствий переноса такого заблуждения в сферу менеджмента.
