Статья посвящена анализу дипломатической деятельности в области со- действия международному развитию как на двустороннем, так и многостороннем уровнях. Официальная помощь в ней рассматривается как инструмент для: 1) достижения внешнеэкономических и политических целей стран-доноров; 2) стиму- лирования экономического развития и интеграции бедных стран мира в мировую экономику; 3) снижения угрозы дестабилизации международных экономических отношений, обусловленной массовой нищетой, социальными и этническими конфликтами, природными и экологическими катастрофами.
