В статье анализируются последствия японского ядерного кризиса на планы государств Восточной Азии по развитию АЭС, сравниваются подходы стран региона к атомной энергетике, а также изменения их планов, последовавшие после начала японского ядерного кризиса. Автор также проводит параллели между аварией на АЭС «Фукусима-1» с Чернобыльским ядерным кризисом, выявля- ет различия во влиянии двух атомных кризисов и их последствий на развитие «мирного атома».
