В статье рассматривается проблема влияния российской национальной культуры на содержание научно-исследовательской деятельности. Авторы формируют гипотезу, согласно которой такое влияние может происходить из организационных особенностей отечественной науки, из исторически сформиро- вавшихся представлений о содержании и смысле науки, а также из характерных психологических черт представителей российской культуры. Исходя из ролевой структуры научно-исследовательской профессии, в качестве наиболее подвер- женного культурному влиянию виду научной деятельности рассматривается экспертиза заявок на проведение научно-исследовательских проектов. В заключи- тельной части статьи предлагаются программа и методология эмпирического исследования экспертного сообщества Российского фонда фундаментальных исследований.
