Текущие взаимоотношения между Россией и США находятся в периоде «перезагрузки». Президенты Обама и Медведев выразили свои намерения по дальнейшему развитию взаимодействия в различных областях. Текущий глобальный кризис также оказывает влияние на эти взаимоотношения - обе страны озабочены проблемой глобального восстановления экономики. Тем не менее, существуют важные области, являющиеся потенциально конфликтными во взаимоотношениях России и США. Данная статья посвящена исследованию текущих особенностей взаимоотношений России и США посредством когнитивного картирования. Автор отмечает, что политика «перезагрузки» - это не единственная возможная стратегия Америки по отношению к России. Американские элиты придерживаются различных взглядов на проблему взаимоотношений с Россией, и существуют различные тренды развития этих отношений
