Цель данной статьи состоит в том, чтобы исследовать геополитическую ситуацию в Центральной Азии; изучить различные подходы к укреплению безопасности региона; оценить растущую роль ШОС в гарантированной безопасности среднеазиатских государств; проследить развитие внешней политики региональных акторов; изучить современные межнациональные отношения, затрагивающие вопросы безопасности; определить роль государственных и негосударственных акторов в указанных процессах.
