В статье анализируется эволюция теорий интеграции, выявляются основные их положения и рассматривается вопрос об их применимости в исследовании опыта незападного регионального сотрудничества. Рассматриваются также современные теории регионализма, изначально разработанные для сравнитель- ного анализа, без ориентации на европейскую интеграцию как модель.
