<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Food consumption is influenced by a series of issues that affect both individuals, and people and cultures of the different parts of the world. It studies biosocial risks that have dramatic implications: obesity, anorexia and bulimia; malnutrition and hunger, involving more than 800 million people; the waste food, a real paradox of the global world; the land grabbing. These are very different problems because of causes and dynamics, but all of them require a profound change to be affected: a greater awareness of eating behaviour, an educational action on food topics, an intervention of regulatory institutions, local and international, which guarantees a fair market for products and food sovereignty.</p><p> </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>биосоциальные риски</kwd><kwd>голод</kwd><kwd>пищевые отходы</kwd><kwd>продовольственная независимость</kwd><kwd>захват сельскохозяйственной земли</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Dietary wellness</kwd><kwd>biosocial risks</kwd><kwd>obesity</kwd><kwd>anorexia</kwd><kwd>bulimia</kwd><kwd>hunger</kwd><kwd>waste</kwd><kwd>food sovereignty</kwd><kwd>land grabbing</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Beck U.
